La cantante e investigadora dominicana Irka Mateo impartirá un Taller en la «Celebración de los 40 años de la Mujer en la Radio» de Sophie's Parlor Show en Washington. «Si están en el área me encantaría que venieran a disfrutarlo», dijo Irka.
El tema del taller es «Lo Femenino en lo Taíno». Ella introducirá las principales figuras femeninas y sus roles en la mitología y la religiosidad Taína . El taller será impartido a través de una charla que tiene por hilo conductor un programa de música interactivo en Howard University, Departamento de Radio TV y Film
